BUILDING A PATHWAY FOR STUDENT WELLNESS

Instilling in students healthy habits, behavior and attitude at home and school is essential. As adults, when we consistently inspire our children with positive experiences and teach them the realities of life with no fabrication added to the situations, we shall build in them resilience, tenacity and courage to face challenges with a positive mind. ·         Reinforcing the organizational skills and following systematic procedures and methods from early years, will become positive in course of time and turn into a regular habit.
Social and Emotional Wellness: 
·         Relationships should be the crux of all that we do. 
·         Students should be assisted in building positive relationships with peers, adults, elders etc. Educate them on identifying positive traits of individuals and choosing right people before building relationship.
·         Help students to value relations. Nurture skills that enable students to balance their emotions and develop self-regulatory behavior.
Environmental Wellness
·         Guide students on understanding their responsibility and accountability towards their environment and saving resources.
·         Develop green habits and attitude that enable students to think and save the earth resources.
·          Teachers should integrate place based education, system thinking and geo enquiry in the curriculum, so that students learn and develop sustainable practices that will make them grow into positive individuals.
Physical and Moral Wellness:  

Assist students at home and school on physical activities such as aerobic exercises, apart from other physical exercises and games they participate. This will keep them physically fit and agile. Mindfulness, Yoga and talking on positive values every day at home and school will make students mentally fresh and motivate them to do their very best.
